why does the red peeps come in a yellow box and the rest of the peeps comes in the same colour box as the peep?

Colours play an influence on how we taste things. Red and pink, for example, make us *think* certain foods are sweeter, while blues and greens tend to be not as flavourful. Of course, this is all mental... In reality there is no difference in taste. The yellow ones are probably her favourite because they are the 'original' peeps; if she grew up with pink peeps, she would probably think they are the tastiest. I forget the word for it, but there have been many tests about colour influencing taste.
