Rachid Taha was born in Algeria and growd up in France, still has algerian pass, became the cameleon of french pop-music - pop, rock, electro with oriental/maghrebian touch, mostly in arabic language and also french, with strong personnality. Faudel was born in France and became a moment the "prince of Raï" - but without the talent and the charisma of his both elders (he also used to support the ultra-cons Nicolas Sarkosy beeing president of French Republic....:-(
