Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival

A trip to the interior of Florida would not be complete without a hometown country style food festival. Madoka and I traveled to Zellwood, just north of Orlando, for this annual event.

An admission ticket gets you all the corn you can eat and some nice country music. As you can see by the video our little trip was sliced by a horrendous storm but the festivities went on before and after the storm.

A big thanks to Peg Dunmire for allowing us shelter during the storm. We would have had to huddle close with the masses in the free corn building but instead we got to witness Mother Nature at work from the dry center of Peg's Tent. http://www.dunmireforcongress.com/
