02/23/08 - Eli Roth introduces Scott Baio and Zapped! (1982) at the New Beverly Theater during his "Greats of Roth" film festival.
Speaking the night before the 80th Annual Academy Awards, Eli makes a passionate case for "fun" movies and the love of cinema, as opposed to the self-important fare the academy tends to recognize.
"The Greats of Roth" is a two week festival of Roth-programmed double features at the New Beverly Cinema. (02/17/08 - 03/01/08)
02/23/08:
Zapped! (1982)
Carrie (1976)

He seemed to be more socialable here than on the reality show. I would like to know many film trivias from the movies he appeared in. He's a typical Brooklyn native whose fame was received for roles in Happy Days and Charles In Charge are his most memorable from. He's just a regular guy trying to do the right thing. He seems pretty cool to me, too.

Love it! I own a mint film print. I screen it every year at the start of Summner.
Thanks for posting this! Scott seems like a really cool guy

Meh. If this came from someone that actually made good or fun movies it would mean more.
