  • Problem sovling involves how to squeeze the most square footage for the cheapest construction cost.

  • right on.

  • Dug Taapp. Haha, thats so cute.

I get the feeling that this series is essentially saying you have to be good at all of these things... But not necessarily any of them! Still, great videos, enjoying them and learning a lot. :)

  • perceptive.

  • Felicidades por tus videos. Son muy interesantes y motivantes para quienes disfrutamos de la arquitectura. Gracias

  • @Typho0n86 yes u can! tat's the whole thing doug has been talking bout in this video. creativity is being relish as u solve problems in ur own creative way! or at least thats wat i think ;)

  • he sure does like pics of people jumping lol

  • For my semester 2 project we were only given 2 weeks to design an apartment building. The rest of the semester has been figuring out how the building works, drawing details, making contracts and so on. Before I started my degree I did english literature, 'A' maths, physics, chemistry and technical drawing and the vast majority of that has been helpful. What I've found so far is that you need a broad background of knowledge, a passion for learning and the ability to work really well in a team.

  • What if im a good problem solver, but not that creative lol :P can i learn to be creative?

  • @howtoarchitect Hi, Im just want to ask, Can you make 3D Models like useing google sketch up? And use that, Im a good at drawing but Im REALLY good at 3D Modeling :P

    Thank you :D

  • Hi, I study architecture in Peru, and sometimes I feel like my partners are more creative than me and that makes me feel that I'm not good enough with architecture. Eventhough watching this video made me realize that creativity is not the only thing that matters in this carreer. Congratulations, your videos are very interesting : )

  • Is The Beggining Your Daughter? I Heard A Ready, Go xD
