Still waiting for gingerbread in the UK for the sim free version. Luckily had side loading option out the box unlike carrier versions. Launcher pro has fixed all problems with motoblur for me, my phone is vary nippy now with no slowdown at all yet. It's actually not all that intrusive a UI overall.
