  • i think the timing was alright

  • I would have chopped that mother from the get go!

  • @maxtrack guess how i pack: adjust forebrake, pull out kill line, shake, sort slider, somehow get into pod, throw pod in container done.

  • I would often pack for other jumpers, but I almost always packed for myself. Why, because of bad openings when others packed for me. As it turns out, I've never packed a malfunction for anyone else, but many have complained about how the pack job opens. :-)

  • @boxheadsnow I use packers. It was packing error as far as I could tell.

  • Also, how did the break line manage to do that?

  • He didn't wait too long. It is ok to wait and see if such a canopy is landable and if you are comfortable doing so. It seems like thats what he was doing and decided, nope, cutaway. Its sometimes better to land a canopy with a broken line, tear, or whatever rather than cutaway. You did good and had an open reserve over your head with plenty of altitude left. Good job

  • dude how much time you going too spend on that if its not 100% right its 100% wrong!!!

  • Yeah, nice job on the break stowage.

  • definitely he waited too long
