Sasquatch is firmly rooted in early 70's psychedelic blues metal. I was at the Echo to see another band and just got the camera out long enough to catch the last two songs of their set. The energy level pretty much blew the audience away and their guitar player looks eerily like Neil Young. This is a Grand Funk Railroad cover from GF's Closer To Home LP. Recorded 9/27/07

  • Don't let youself be fooled! The original is from written and sung by Mark Farner formerly of Grand Funk Railroad. He deserves the merit!

  • This is a cover song by a band that worships Grand Funk. Nobody is trying to fool anybody. The effect is to actually turn more people on to Mark's music.

  • Where and when did they make this?

  • It was shot 9/27/07 at a club called the Echo in Los Angeles.

  • It's a Grand Funk Railroad song "Sin's A Good Man's Brother" from their Closer To Home LP. Mark Farner is a massive Rock N Roller.

  • Cool. Thanks for the info

  • I'm assuming the guitar player you think looks like Neil Young is the one on the right - he is Ed Mundell from Monster Magnet, who isn't in Sasquatch but plays with them occasionally - and they covered this very song on their first album.
