IS THIS REALLY A SYMPTOM/CLINICAL SIGN THAT I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT? MY BULLDOG DOES THAT VERY SPORADICALLY, HE DOES THAT ONE OR TWO TIMES IN A ROW BUT THEN STOPS AND GETS BACK TO NORMAL. DOESNT LOOK VERY DISTRESSING AND ITS QUITE A RARE EVENT.. ANY THOUGHTS? THX FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO!

There is a difference between reverse sneezing and the cough that is specific to heart issues (mitral valve prolapse) in older dogs. I had a yorkiepoo who had the cough (she was very old but still lived almost 5 years after her heart issues started, and died right before turning 20). I have a whippet that does reverse sneezing from time to time. The difference is there, hard to know it tough if you do not have experience with both.

@mcelinel602 Your dog most likely had asthma, not reverse sneezing.

My dog had this problem and she ended up dying of heart failure because she could not get oxygen into her lungs

how did you know to tape him! hehehe poor thing. mine does it too, does it hurt them do you know?

my rott does this and it scares me.
Check with your vet - with my dog, it was caused by nasal mites (yep, bugs in his nose). It was easy to treat.
