The Virtual Ward software has been developed by University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, East Midlands Deanery and OCB Media - a spin-out company of the University of Leicester - to enhance patient safety education at Leicester's Medical School. The BADGER (Browser-Based Assessment of Decision-making using virtual patients Generated by Expert peer-Review) project explores how medical students on the 5-year MBChB course at Leicester use the software to learn clinical problem-solving and decision-making. Here is some feedback from students who have participated in the study.
