I love how the Republicans act, if you disagree on an issue, you're automatically disowned by them. No wonder the the Republicans are laughed at by voters. I admire Chuck Hagel. At least he stood up to the President and to his party when no one else did. The Republican party has become their own worst enemy. Excluding every group now, except for uneducated white men from the south. No wonder Hagel left

He has just positioned himself to be a nobody to anybody.
Obvious where you're coming from...the left just loves the bashing when it involves other Republicans...
Of course--ask the left about his positions on abortion, Supreme Court nominations, and right-to-work laws, and they'll totally disregard anything said.
He was budy-buddy with McCcain when the latter was bashing other Repubs..i will say, though, Ben nelson (D-Neb) makes the state proud!

Unbelievable. Yet another combat veteran being smeared by the rightwing ideologues. And worse yet, they're smearing one of their own. Unlike John McCain, Hagel won't start blowing the people responsible for the smears. If Hagel is the shame of Republicans, I'll switch parties and become a Republican to align myself with him. You neocons can all go to hell.
