The facts are uncommonly clear: In February of 2009, President Obama signed a $787 Billion dollar stimulus to get people back to work. Since that day, there are 2.4 million fewer jobs in our country.

How about an economic stimulus plan that will pay off the national/world deficit and employ millions of people? Would you want to know what it is? Well the government doesn’t care so why should we. Lets all take our money out of the bank and let the banks CRASH!!! But as soon as we do lets put in in gold because that’s what will sky rocket. Then we’ll all be rich. :)

@AsianCynicist Baloney! There is indeed a need to focus on who voted for whom or what, because they need to be held accountable and thrown out of office in short order. Just look at how John Conyers has been in office since '65, and yet he admits that he doesn't even read bills! He's insulated by voters in Michigan (probably UAW boneheads) who don't focus on HIS worthless ass. We can only do so much as private citizens about policy, but we can vote people out.

@randommagnum While my facts and figures do distinguish b/t democrats and republicans, I was just trying to illustrate "politics is a game" isn't always the best paradigm to approach these issues. The news articles tend to indicate that major opposition came from what form the stimulus was going to take.
No need to complain about who voted for whom causing bad things, policy focus is a much better solution.

You idiot if you don't want all the stores in the mall to go out of bussines then yeah that's what you should do. Horde your monney. Which is what fuels recesions in the first place..hoarding. Then those ppl will lose their jobs because ppl aren't coming to their stores..and then they won't have monney to come to your place of work and pay for your services...then you're straight up out of a job too...funny how that works...you are so dumb.
