Your bird is FANTASTIC, such clarity. I have a "gray mutation IRN", and i believe she, but i'm thinking he, is already talking at 7 months. Says the usual phrases; "Whatcha Doin", Hello, etc...I'm trying now, to get Keiko to say his/her name, and of course i love you. I find after being in the field now for 20yrs, it's A LOT easier, for them to listen to another IRN speaking. And they will then learn & imitate, what there hearing VERY quickly...!!! Youtube is fantastic as a "training device".

When my green one started talking he'd only talk when we left and we'd run in and say hello Trayne etc etc and he'd go all shy and silent..... sucks huh!

Maria...just keep on saying it to them. I say it EVERY day.....and then one day..when you leave the room...LOL "WHAT R U DOIN?" lol i think its so funny when it sounds just like your voice.
