ROCK OF AGES - Beautiful Hymn

Rock Of Ages, Cleft For Me, Hymn Tune: Toplady. Probably one of the most well known Hymns Christians have enjoyed. As a Church Organist, I have performed it often and it was always requested at Funeral Services. I especially like the last Verse, I play it with a slight ritard and with breath:

While I draw this fleeding breath, When MY EYES SHALL CLOSE IN DEATH, When I SOAR to worlds unknown, See Thee on Thy JUDGEMENT THRONE, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee.

Isn't it Comforting to know that when OUR EYES CLOSE IN DEATH, we will be with the LORD.
