@darkdog4440 actually, the headphones you get complimentary on flights beat the beats. The beats are awful, they have the worst sounding audio for a ``studio`` headphone

@AchristianCaustin No Dr-Dres are the worst of the worst. They are the most overpriced headphones out there. If you have a budget under a hundred dollars, I have 2 headphones to recommend and I own them both. The Sony MDR-V6 or the Shure SRH440. They are both studio headphones and sound great for the price. If you have a budget of around 150 and want something that's more stylish and has better base get the audio technica ATH-M50

@8lovelovelove9 if you're on a budget get neither, get the sony mdr-v6, they are really similar to the srh440s and only cost 60 bucks. The MDR-XB500 have loud bass and excellent comfort but thats about it. The MDR-V6 (the MDR-7506 is the same) is super durable and sound as good as any pair of headphones under 150$ can get other than that. If you want to decide between HPs search for headphone shootout on google and on the first result you will find a chart at the end of the post with comparison
