we just run the pipes out the closest wall and close off the old vent termation with a blank cover .

this was very helpful i have an old 70 sumthing yr trailor. thing is small. old furnace was no good. bought a new one replaced it myself but i dont know a thing about wiring so i had a profesional do it froze ass past month now me and my daughter are sweating it. lol

it's a 90% condensing furnace, opperates at lower temps, so no it will not melt.
