At the Stamford Campus of the University of Connecticut, 4th Congressional District Representative, Jim Himes (D) was served the Tea Party Budget.

This meeting was the third of three town halls Himes hosted in three days. Topics focused on the economy, the deficit and jobs. About 70 people attended the 90-minute meeting.

Bob MacGuffie, a member of the Tea Party Debt Commission, handed Mr. Himes a simple blueprint for restoring America and saving the economy.

Twice what the "economists" tell us what is needed? Are these the same "economists" who got us where we are now? I'd say let's double their recommendations to make sure we get it right. Bravo to the Tea Party! But why must the Tea Party do the job of Congress? That's the question we should ask.
