Drunk vandals smash windows at the bus stops in Hildenborough. They leave a pile of sweets including Boost, cigarettes and Scrumpy Jack Cider cans, probably got from One stop. Residents didn't appear to have noticed it or reported the matter to the police, this now it has been reported. The damage trailed from One Stop on London Road, to the bus stop outside the BP garage. Teenagers were clearly congregating outside the Vicarage, people must have seen them or heard them!

  • Bus shelters all fixed and Tonbridge Police are regularly looking out for them.

  • shelfish assholes kids people just don't care about others people's proprety!

  • @anko8aug - they've just done another bus stop in Hildenborough. They don't care as they don't pay for it, but the community and their parents do

  • @anko8aug - some yobs were caught by Tonbridge drinking outside St John's Church recently. Fortunately the police are now keeping an eye on Hildenborough at weekends.

  • That happens everywhere unfortunately,I do not know why they the Council or the Advertising Group insist on using Glass all the time for these Bus Shelters. It would be better if it was Perspex then at least no Glass to stick in Peoples Feet or Bicycle Tyres.

With us it is not just the Drunks that do it but mostly the Vandals. I always see Adseal Replacing the Glass usually on Monday Mornings on these Shelters in Dublin and they put an Advert in between the Glass.

  • @sunnyjoe66 - interesting. Arriva own the bus shelters so you would have thought they would use a different material if this type of thing goes on up and down the country. It happens by the local station as well and there happens to be a golf club down the road, maybe they are using golf clubs. I think the station now uses Perspex.

  • Over here it is JC Decaux or Adseal that Sponsors these Shelters. If you leave the City you might find a few of the Older Shelters from 20 Years ago in Rural areas and these are made mostly of Metal with small Perspex Windows at the back up at the top,Dublin.
