I'm not sure what you mean.
1. Futurism is a political and artistic movement and is entirely irrelevant.
2. Bulky and unethical? How is an attempt to advance prosthetics unethical? I doubt that Claudia Mitchel would agre with you on this point.
3. Future of robots? While both bionics and robotics share common ground, it's hardly a matter for concern.

It's truly encouraging to see that we're breaking the boundries of human-machine integration. I only hope I'll live to see it implemented smoothly.

@pegstir Thanks for your comment. Yea I basically just wanted to show some advanced (2008) prosthetics from various groups (these videos were taken straight from their websites). I'm working on a video to review newer models that I hope to upload soon. The most promising next gen devices available today come from Dean Kamen's DECKA ARM and Touch Bionics i-LIMB HAND & PULSE. Touch Bionics has a great video about these at their website
