P/N 17547, just a muffler swap, stock resonator still intact. Just a bit more rumble than stock, No interior drone. Very happy with it. Truck is otherwise 100% stock at this point. (only a month old)

  • 1500HD? I took a very similar one for a drive, balls off the walls but couldn't justify the mileage for the power difference from the 5.3.

  • @cameronblair6 What did they rate the one you drove? I get 13-15 around town 18-20 hwy. I think the 5.3 is only 2-3 more... This truck has the NHT package. Sort of like a heavy half from the years back.

  • is that a 2500HD?

  • @ae232 no, its a 1500. ;)

  • I must make a new video it is so much louder now that its burnt in...

  • What is the stock piping is it 3 inches all way through?

  • Had a 2500HD. Traded it in on a 1500 6.2L max trailering package. AMAZING.... Will never go back..... 17mph on average towing/mountains..... and HP..... Just go for a test drive.....

  • @cameronblair6

They actually get pretty good millage once broken in. I did something similar to the OP and just replaced the muffler (along with a drop in K&N and upgraded mid pipe) and a custom tune and am getting 21MPG on the HWY last time I calculated it. Pretty good for that size truck IMO.
