  • this are some pretty wise comments. Who is this Professor and where does he teaches??

  • He used to teach at the The City College Of New York. I knew him as Dr. Lou

  • I apologize about the volume...you just have to increase the volume of your speakers

  • I do believe that there are people who make good grades who shouldn't be doctors

Good luck! I am 18, in my second year undergraduate, and am working hard for it. Do the same and stay motivated, focused, patient, serious, self-reflective, caring, relaxed, and enthusiastic and wish to God you're doing the right thing. Just work hard... Try your own ways and see how you acheive. And make sure you avoid distractions like TV, Youtube (yes I know...), and Facebook ... They're a studier's pitfall no matter whom.

  • He's absolutely right. The system is set up to maximize college ratings and profits. It's a numbers and statistic, and they treat medical school applicants like swine - the same way the do for every other industry in the United States.

And we wonder why we're falling behind in education, research, industry, production, finance, and economic power.

The person with the cure for AIDS, is probably working at Burger King because medical schools turned him/her down due to test scores.

  • thanks for the input

  • little late, but I was just Licensed as a Paramedic while taking full time pre-med courses and preparing for MCAT. Have done well in all... It IS possible!
