Produced by Joe Bodolai. This amazing performance is from my Gemini award-winning series IT'S ONLY ROCK 'N ROLL! (which also starred Mike Myers) on CBC in Canada. We invited Stevie Ray to appear and then introduced him to Jeff. Stevie was blown away and offered to perform with him. It was Jeff's first TV appearance. These late guitar virtuosos are missed, but this performance lives forever. This is one of the greatest moments of my career.

cool, had never seen this, hard to imagine as I thought I'd hunted up about everything to do with stevie - wonderful to see it! And pardon me for saying this, but I don't think either of these boys will rest in peace - they're up there jammin! <3

ONE OF MY FAV SRV VID. I GET THE IMPRESSION STEVIE WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THIS TOO @ 1: 50 WHEN JEFF GETS UP STEVIE WAS IN SO EXITED THEN AT 2:10 STEVIE WAS SO RIGHT THERE WITH JEFF AND THEY WERE BOTH IN A DIFFERENT PARARELL. SUCH A SHAME THERE IS NO GOOD QUALITY COPY. LEE FROM ENGLAND.

@lindab30 ... Well said Linda! Jeff was amazing, an ever present part of my summers growing up and you are so right. It would have been a treat for anyone who had the pleasure of playing with him. May both these men Rest in Peace, the world lost something special with their early passing
