I measure a lot of stuff by eye, so you're getting exactly what I do. In a blender, add:
1 cup of apple juice
2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds
a handful of spinach leaves (put these on the bottom to make sure they're obliterated — you will not taste them!)
1 banana (put it in the fridge for a few hours if you want so it's nice and cold!)
8-12 frozen strawberries
a handful of frozen blackberries
a handful of frozen raspberries
a handful of frozen blueberries
Blend until everything is basically liquefied, so about 2-3 minutes. Makes probably 3 cups? I dunno, it fills one of my large plastic cups. No need to add ice since the fruits are frozen. It'll be a nice cold refreshment on a hot day or as a snack. There's no dairy, so vegans can enjoy as well. :B
