Star Trek Novel Nerd Alert

(That really loud noise in the background is my A/C unit, and I had no idea it would be that loud in the video otherwise I would have turned it off. :/)

I spend almost the majority of this video talking about the Star Trek novel Shadows on the Sun by Michael Jan Friedman. (I swear next time I'll have something interesting to talk about.) There's also mention of this thing going on in San Diego this week, something called Comic Con, maybe. :D

I think they do it because they get bored with "X" did this and "Y" said this, because everyone knows how they look and they can't add to much to the characters themselves? I have no idea. I don't write. I only read. And get annoyed at annoying writing.

no youre not crazy, and yes you are right, its quite offensive to refer to characters by their attributes unless another character is referring to them then thats ok

Well, I just got up half an hour ago and haven't finished my tea yet. I don't think anything right now, I am afraid. But yeah, maybe that is what was going on in the subconscious levels of my brain.
