From '88: The FIRST of syndicated show, "USA Today-The Television Show"...Part 2 of 3. As one poster put it from a previous clip post--this show was ahead of its time. By watching the subject matter here--one can see why this show didn't last--a bunch of irrelevant topics in my opinion. EXCELLENT graphics and presentation though. The show lasted until early 1990. Co-anchors were: Edie Magnus, Robin Young, Boyd Matson, Kenneth Walker, Dale Harimoto, Ann Abernathy, Bill Macatee, and Beth Ruyak. (courtesy: wikipedia)
Gretchen Carlson later became a news personality.

Robin Young could never hold down a job for most of the 80s, never mind she never had hard hitting journalism experience. She now does a midday show on the Boston NPR station, in her hometown.

They must have had a huge green screen to be able to show the entire body of the woman at 0:51
