FYI: I just sent back my M17X, due to a Windows graphics issue. If you calibrate your color profile (because the default is kind of "bluish"), it will automatically revert to the default Windows profile at certain events. It has been a bug for 2 years! I'm contemplating the Lenovo w520 or MacBook Pro to replace my 2008 MacBook Pro. All that being said -- if you don't mind the default color profile, the latest Alienware laptop is a sweet piece of hardware.
