"Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" is the title of a doo-wop song written by John D. Loudermilk. It was released in 1967 by the group The Casinos on its 1966 album of the same name, becoming a #6 pop hit that year. Since then, the song has been covered by Eddy Arnold, whose version was a Number One country hit in 1968, and Neal McCoy, whose version was a Top 5 country hit in 1996.
