TV-Empfang von den Färöer-Inseln bei Parchim

Sjónvarp Føroya kam am frühen Morgen des 18.12.2007 in der Nähe von Parchim (M-V) herein - vielleicht zum letzten Mal analog?

unweit von Parchim (M-V) Fernsehempfang von den Färöer-Inseln. Der einzige dort befindliche leistungsstarke TV-Sender kam für einige Minuten sogar in Farbe an!

Unbelievable, but true: In the morning hours of December 18th, 2007 there was a big surprise: On VHF ch. E-6 I watched an unknown testcard... This was Sjónvarp Føroya from the Faeroer/Føroya Islands, logged near Parchim (German Federal State "Bundesland" Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). The first tropospheric log over this distance! Will this be the last log from Føroya before it's analogue closedown???

How can I watch Kringvarp Føroya at my TV in Norway? Can my TV recieve the signals from a satellite dish, or just an ordinary antenna?

Normally you can`t receive, it's too far away. But in case of tropo cx ist must be possible due to the water between Norway and Faroer.

Nope, Sjonvarp foroya closes at 22.00 everyday and opens at 17.00 everyday
