But while that last option would avoid the distortion, I don't know if it'll remove the noise that goes on and on  through the recording.

Assuming you record sound with your camera, try an independent sound recorder if you have, such as a dictaphone. Other option is to record with a microphone connected to your computer with sound recording software. You can afterwards match the sound with the picture in your video editing software. Third option is to place the camera further away from the piano and then level up the sound volume in your video editing software.
