A very mixed up mixed media page for my junk journal.

The base color painted is actually a metallic water color, the whole image has a lot of metallic qualities that do not show up in the video or the final scan. :(

I bought a puzzle at the thrift store for $1 strictly to use in art... I got one with really bright colors so maybe you will see more puzzling pieces in the future.

Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment and rate!

  • love your art

  • @bobyard123 - Thank you!

  • Your journal is becoming more and more beautiful with each page. You do a fabulous job with them. I know what you mean about the iridescent/metallic things not showing. It's almost impossible to capture them without putting light directly on the surface of them....and then the colors get distorted. heheheh

  • @debcoart - yuppers... and in my next video I have the same problem. Thank you for the wonderful complement! :D

  • Another great page! In fact, I believe this is my absolute favorite one you've done... so far!

And, LOL @ the studio companion sometimes becoming a little 'too' helpful. I have two of those, as well - twin litter-mates who prefer to be well within my orbit, like my own little moons. Ha Ha!

  • @willpaint4paint - hahaha yeah, my Storm can be a bit of a pain but I love him! Thanks so much for watching! :)

  • @karinsuebart - I'm glad you enjoyed watching. My studio companion can be nice to have around sometimes... other times.. he tries to be a little toooooooo helpful.

  • Really enjoyed watching as the layers, colors and textures build - and you have a lovely studio companion by your side!

  • @Cybelemoon I know, that's what I thought! lol

  • @daligoddess2006 - Thank you!!! It's almost worth watching a second time to just watch him in the background in the chair... its really funny when he decides to start cleaning himself (in high speed it is hilarious!)
