A musette waltz by Eric Maxchwitz. I was inadvertently recording in mono until this recording. Hopefully the sound quality will be better than before, especially for those listening with headphones.

  • Greetings from Paris! I must say, it's pieces like this and players like you that have always made me want to learn accordion. Thanks you for uploading your wonderful music for all to hear!

  • Thanks very much. I guess it's time for you to take up the accordion. It's a marvelously versatile instrument.

  • Definitely much nicer in stereo. Would it be too much to ask you to go back and redo all of the other ones? :) I enjoy your playing and the stero is much nicer on my headphones.

  • Kenn,

Thanks for your comments. Wish I had realized several weeks ago that everything was in mono, but my computer speakers didn't reveal the problem. Anyway, I'm still trying different recording options, and once I'm satisfied I may redo some of the others--or remove them. If I can keep it simple and avoid a lot of processing time I should be able to redo them--if nothing else it's good practice.

BTW, I loved your winning performance at the Roland Festival.

  • Amazing ;]

  • Superb, the Roland sounds great!

  • Greetings from Canada! I am a fellow accordionist who loves french musette. This is a marvellous arrangment of this famous french musette piece. I have two copies of this music for piano but not nearly as good as this. If it is possible would you mind sharing your arrangement with me. Thank you for your consideration. Henry

  • Richard, you're playing my favorite song. You are a very good player. The Roland E-accordion is making very good music.

I have published the musette waltz for this week here at YouTube. Maybe you hear my Vidoo at once.
