Either that, or the people that translated it did a poor job.

Both Frolo and Quasimodo have some of the most well-trained voices I've heard in any translation of Hunchback. It's hardly worth mentioning that any attempt at this song by someone with a remote sense of musical talent is better than the English version.

In the start with 2 voices, its not that great. Try the danish one, its amazing!

@80sgirl2010 think it would have been a bit too depressing :( afterall one of the main characters died, and Disney would either bring her back to life or just write out her death completely. I like how they brought Esmerelda back to life, afterall she WAS the hero of the story, but I'm not sure if they'd do it for Les Mis
