A tribute to honor the men and women of the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (Delta Force) God Bless America, its Veterans and those currently serving in our Armed Forces.

r u guys kidding me with this, sas nor delta r better then the other, the r both elite teams from differnt sides of the pond, the fact is we have worked side by side each other, and r still doing so right now in the middle east and other areas of operation hince the joint coalition, just be happy you have these quiet pro standing ready to what must be done in a moments notice  De oppresso liber !

@aintnunbutapenut Not all special forces will work together in one place, but if a conflict becomes a problem to multiple nations, their SF would likely form joint operations, like JTF-2, the U.S. Army Rangers, and the SAS in Afghanistan.

@khyea91 We have more resources.. therefore our trainin is generally better.

but I know that this is kind of goin against what ive said.. The british SAS have more combat experience, their special forces (and SF only) have more combat experience. This experience that helps them train their SF better.

Dont get me wrong our military is the best in the world, but i believe that the SAS is the best SF.

S.A.D., well, hey recruit from Delta and Seal Team 6, so i really doubt the brits have anything that compares to them.." My side of the argument is that the Brits are in fact better trained in special forces warfare, they have more experience in combat than us Americans. Just because we may have the best military doesn't mean we give the best training in all aspects of war.
