@FraggleMonkey it's not how the body reacts. You most likely got hit on an artery. Veins ooze, while arteries will leak and shoot to the rhythm of the heart beat. It most likely sprayed because the hole it was bleeding from was tight and all the pressure build up from the arterial blood just escaped at that moment you saw blood flying.

It shouldn't have bled that much if he did not hit any vein. Odds are he punctured the transverse facial vein. It's not relatively a large vein so she most likely did not have any issues from it after.
The face in itself has a lot of veins and arteries that branch out all over the face. Cuts on veins are also very common and the guy seemed to have handled the procedure fairly well. Only problem was that he could have prevented all those bleeding by keeping pressure on it with the gauze longer.

@DieGurkee So he managed to cut a vein in her forehead, by piercing below her eye socket? Highly unlikely.
-
Wrong^^ He just hurted the Supraorbital streak, who leads to the eye. But dont worry, this vein is not a mother lode, and its very unlikely that anybody cut it completely with a needle or an medical puncher. That´s not the piercers mistake, its just Tough^^

ok to all who dis this..the face is normaly more of a bleeding area when it comes to dermals so everyone who thinks they know stfu im a piercer and i have done over 2,000 dermals and everyone has bled alot so dont judge her or the piercer because he knew what he was doing and not everyones blood is going to be the perfect consistancy for this piercing

i love that mans mohawk
For everyone concerned about this piercing
The piercing should not have been bleeding that much. It seems like her blood was thinned prior to the piercing (alcohol was most likely the cause judging by overall behavior of the "piercee") and as shown in the video this piercist caused unnecessary trauma and I'm sure bruising was also caused to the area. he also did not seem to know what to do to stop the bleeding. Do not take this video as educational when it comes to deciding on getting this done

@uhumn Thanks for your concern but no, I did not have any alcohol prior to the piercing. My blood was not thinned by any action of my own. What was wrong with my behavior? I was having fun with my friends. Excuse me. And my piercer is very good and there was never any bruising after the piercing was done. I still have it 2 years later and there has never been any problem with it.
