This has a storyline, so if you want to understand I suggest you read the description. Um, well, it all started yesterday morning...I just kept singing this song like crazy and I don't know what part of the lyrics turned on the part of my brain that is just so obsessed with SVU-and more particularly, EO! And um, the more I sang it, the more reasons I tried to come up with that would justify this being and EO song, and this is what I got: In the start of the song it basically describes how Liv's got a lot to say to Elliot, his eyes are always glued to her and it just doesn't make sense in her head as to why. Obviously El likes her because he's always looking at her, but that's where he draws the line, just looking. So it still kinda makes no sense, right? Then the lyrics say, 'they taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies. They taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies' These women, I'm not going to mention any names or point any fingers (because they are like Lord Voldemort, they who must not be named, you know who they are...yeah. Oh, the only difference is that we don't name them because we fear them, but because they are just...trolls) but yeah, they don't really want him to say anything to her, be seen together, and they just don't want them together in general. BUT, he still can't stay away completely because our little El has a crush on Liv (oh, they grow up so fast...tear) Okay, so all Liv wants is to just be alone with him, but that is never going to happen because he just won't approach her and he's just giving Liv mixed signals, so she thinks that maybe he might not like her like she does him. So if he just wants to play mind games with her by just flirting with her, she of course is not going to object to that because she sees the flirtations as better than nothing, so she'll take what she can get from him. And from all the flirtation she starts dreaming/wondering what a relationship with him would be like and it seems realistic, but then she snaps out of it and she's like 'that never happens. I guess I'm dreaming again.' Ah, poor Olivia she just needs alone time with him, where these women can't fill his head up with lies and he can see that they are good together and realize that he loves her as much as she loves him-and then, they can have something real! Omg, they should totally make a Disney movie out of this because then they are guaranteed their happy fairy-tale ending...and wouldn't that be nice?! : )
