@mrsbarrybadass12 That's cruel! Let it out!

Thank goodness God promised not to flood the earth again ;)

Please, feed it. They eat green flies, that way they help the trees and help the reproduction of air even though they look insignificant, actually they are important to humans. I adore lady bugs.

That alone is a sign that the World is changing and closer to a new beggining

One of the reasons the property owner insisted on anonymity (he/she is not featured in the story at all, just neighbors) is because he/she's had problems in the past. During a really bad fire year in Colorado, he/she walked up to the top of his/her property and discovered a bunch of teenagers hanging out up there, watching the fire on the mountain across the valley.... and they had a campfire going.
I think I'd be overly cautious, too, if strangers were setting fires on my property.

fascinating, Mindshadow, I had no idea, thank you for the most excellent reply

At the end of the original broadcast, they said that it is standard mating behavior (pheromones attact them to the same spot)... but most were just hanging out, not moving that much. They did a follow up story where entomologists said that this type of ladybug, the Convergent type, goes into a bit of a mid-summer hibernation.
Go to 9news and search for Ladybugs to find both original stories with the reporter comments that didn't get posted here.

He did, but that one didn't go viral. Go to 9news (YouTube won't let me post the link) and search for Return of the Lady Beetle

That can be bad when they are swarming in those numbers!!! Its like locusts!
Probably because they don't want the insects to be disturbed.
