Clams plenty here ..lol. I couldn't hear the backing track very well because I didn't want it to bleed through, so my timing was major messed up..sorry.
Only using the AxeFx through a VHT 2/50/2 and a Randall 2x12"
The Phaser and Flanger is the AxeFx's..

Yes I know I don't play it in the right position..lol

  • Looked to me like he was playing the open Am chord. Anyway. Amazing tone. It's like EVH on steroids

  • @LukeAir2008 In the description I mention that I don't play it in the correct position. Eddie plays it in the open Am :)

  • Can you give us your setting for you're incredible tone ?

  • @arcolerh

All my patches are available in Bank J of the AxeChange Tab in the AxeFx editor :)

  • Not trying to be critical, but why is the tone so compressed all the time? Do you dial it in that way or is just what you get with AF?

  • @BullhornGuy

Youtube compresses the tone a lot. I tend to like a tight tone more than open.

  • Great Sound.

  • Your a-ok Mark....I play it in the same position.. :o)

  • @samhillband ok understood. I thought he was saying that you weren't playing the a minor chord in the open position. He meant the riff which I suppose doesn't really matter. It looks more natural in that V position anyway

  • ...... Nailed it! well done buddy!

  • Yup slightly too compressed - agree with BullhornGuy - your Suhr's got lots of sustain already and you're loosing a lot of the guitar's natural tone - dont be afraid :)D

..also try the correct position in open Amin chord like in the original, not the 2nd position :) - just want to share an honest opinion - hope you dont mind :)

    Cheers!

  • He is awesome. I know him from way back. Moved back to my hometown and Mark will be teaching my daughter's how to play guitar if when he's available.

  • I love your videos, but Im not so much a fan of this tone really, sounds a bit muddy ?
