I think David Letterman is a real Jerk-
he was mocking her and making fun of her all along the show -from the first moment. She was somewhat nervous and he intentionally confused her and made fun of her- it's mean!!
She is not on drugs- she is just nervous and he abuses it- and mockes her!
This inreview is so upsetting to watch!

She did a similar verson of this playfyul routine on Johnny Carson in the 80"s.
I remember it because she was so hilarious. She was amazing all around.
