Ax-Ident is a short film shot in the summer of 2001. It was conceived and directed by Stevin Krysak, then 16, and stars his brothers, Andrew, 14, and Lawrence, 18.
It was shot entirely in the town of Hafford, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Continuity errors abound.
It was shot using an archaic (even at that time) JVC compact VHS camcorder. Originally edited with analog methods, the "Director's Cut" you see here is the digitally edited version.
The music is "Machete" by Moby.
I am completely speechless - good thing my keyboard still works.
