This photo [jhttp://flic.kr/p/8vHeAz] just looks like a typical house, but it's Clinton County's one and only homeless shelter. This really was a slap in my face on what I perceived as rural homelessness. I've toured huge organizations housing hundreds of people, yet I've never seen anything like this. In Wilmington, Ohio, a small town that has seen it's share of crisis [http://bit.ly/cXf7TD], homelessness is just as ugly as a big city. Clinton County Homeless Shelter offers hope to single men, woman and families.

Dude, you shot this in a mirror, didn't you? Sweet, I want your camera. It's hard reading your T-shirt backwards.

I have met loving people like these wonderful ladies; the same commitment to helping people who are homeless, or in danger of becoming homeless. We have alot of rural areas here in New Mexico, and we deal with the same situation - not many jobs to begin with, and those are going away. We are one of the poorest states in the nation, and I can identify with these ladies and what they're up against. Thank God for people like you all - your hearts are beautiful.
