@sumalumah Sorry for answering this 3 year old question but I'm bored as hell. Not many people know this about Ken's Shinryuken in the EX series (EX2 and up only) but rapidly mashing the kick buttons is not enough -> You have to actually ROTATE the stick in multiple 360 motions as fast as you can WHILE mashing all the kick buttons.

When he does the uppercut and you make contact like he did in the video, you press all the buttons rapidly, thus increasing the amount of hits you can get.
