This began when I strummed an e minor chord and looped it with my Pigtronix Echolution. I started playing some chords on top of it with my old Yamaha 12 string and it just built from there. I put the loop thru the Modfactor filter mod using the high pass mode.

Bass drum from the Jomox MBase. The Evolver was used for bass and synth lead. My EMG equipped strat did everything else.

  • How'd you get that gnarly chopping effect at the end? Some kind of programmed gate?

  • I put my guitar thru the Evolver and gated it with a midi sequence

  • Excellent song!

    Nice integration of gear.

Do you use a DAW to record everything? If so, which software? Just wondering how you deal with MIDI sync.

  • For most of my YouTube stuff I use Sony Vegas video software. Its much like Sony Acid which I use a lot. Normally I will use the midi program in Acid, but for the Tube I will sequence basic parts on an old Roland MC-50 and play along to the percussion, etc as I record the video into Vegas.

  • I dig the song. Sorry about the chlamydia and rectal itch! That's a real bummer!

  • dude, I just lost a bet. I told my friend that no one pays attention to the tags anyway!

  • It looks like a Kahler to me...love this track

  • Is that a Stetsbar on your strat?

  • pro man !!!!!!!!

  • awesome

  • YES....nice stuff!

  • Awesome, I'm looking to buy the poly evolver so I'll try such a thing out.

  • Can the ModFactor do extreme effects? I'm especially curious about the Vibrato setting. Can it do really warbly wow & flutter type of sounds?

  • The Jomox MBase is sounds really great. That's another piece that I would like to own.

I love the Evolver sounds in this, too.
