My recovering bassist son and I met Christian personally, when he was headlining at Catalinas in LA a few of years ago. He's a great musician and a true gentleman as well. We remain loyal fans to this living jazz legend. We loved his creation of the piece called "Youstabe!"

I had the pleasure of watching Mr. McBride last week, and I stuck around after the show to meet him. He and his current drummer, Ulysses, are authentic, friendly people, and are just as they appear onstage. Thank you sir, for a moment which I will never forget!
