find a old coal furnace, burn coal and wood, you dont have fix the fire only every 12 hours thats once in morning and once at nite, build a sheet metle box around it wiyh a blower at bottem and your house will be so hot you will have to open the windows!

@Wazztheweasel ...or weasel carcasses. However, most people rely on foreign oil...and it's a shame.

now you can heat your house on corn cobs and garden trash.

@copleygsxr I am not Darryl, I just make the videos. Thanks for watching the video, though. I went by his house today and his stack was smokin' so, he's obviously using it again this year. good luck with your "stove".

I put LED lights everywhere in my house...if I didn't need to heat the water heater and the house with electricity, then I would be paying $40/month in electricity...otherwise I'm paying $350.00. I got a 300Gal oil drum and a old oil compressor tank and I plan on doing this soon. I also have wood for a life time since I live in the woods.

I like your work and resourcefulness. I wish I had the tools and space to build something like this. Maybe it would be a good project to work on this coming summer and get ready for the winter.

@FG37209 The supply of free wood is most important. If you have to pay someone to weld or cut your tanks or metal, but can do the rest.....you will still save substantially. Thanks for watching.
