Trumpet session (featuring guest musician Paul Gaspar)

As I mentioned in the voiceover for the rhythm guitar session for this same song (Curtis' Classic Collection of Comforts), there's an instrumental break in the song, but I've been unsure of what would be playing the lead.

I invited long-time Handyveteran Paul Gaspar to try a trumpet solo, for old times' sake. The hard part was getting in touch with him, because I didn't have his phone number anymore.

I happened to find a YouTube video featuring Paul playing piano in a salsa band, and left a message for him in the comments. This was a few months ago. Then I finally heard from him about a week ago.

So here's the session.
