@jackbox1971 thats becuase george has not the voice to sing a screaming song. When you think about it, george was the lead guitar player for one of the biggest rock bands ever, yet look at all his solo albums, where was the great loud rocking songs? He buy his own account never practiced the guitar- he had cute little solos- but nother like - clapton, page beck- or evan the guy from the banana splits

Interesting. George's vocal version sounds more countryish, whereas John's sounds glam.

Strangely, I never liked the original, always thought Paul sounded a bit flat. I feel the same way about Can't Buy Me Love - something about his voice is just flat, lacks edge. Otherwise he was an insane virtuoso with his voice. But John had the best rock voice of all time. Maybe this was him saying, "hey, maybe we should do it like in the old days." But by this point they were basically individual artists playing back-up to each other, not really collaborating in a big way.

Every time I see Yoko in the studio with the guys it pisses me off. The no-talent leech had no business in there, imo. 4 musicians(legends) and 1 idiot.
