It never gets old. Probably the biggest thrill for any writer or arranger is when his music ceases to be his. I will forever be thrilled by that journey music takes from mouse click to manuscript to mind to mouth to memory. The way singers treat every whimsical inversion or tension with reverence and the way conductors reshape my musical ideas into ones that are not only better but ones I wouldn't have been able to think of --- those things make me feel so humbled. What a great honor it truly was writing for this event. This is the combined choruses of the Ateneo Chamber Singers (Jonathan Velasco, conductor), the Gaia Philharmonic Choir (Ko Matsushita, conductor) and the SYC Ensemble Singers (Jennifer Tham, conductor) performing my arrangement of Ryan Cayabyab's 'Better World' at the second installment of the 'Three!' concert series. Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, Jan. 18, 2009. Ko Matsushita, conductor.

I have watched and heard this probably a hundred times... GP, I never get tired, goose bumps everytime. Thank you God for the gift of music, you made life so much more than the mundane routine of everyday life.
I recently started teaching a choir again, is it possible to ask permission if I can teach this one? How can I get a copy and how much would you charge if possible? Thanks GP Eleria and Mr. C for this wonderful composition and arrangement.. Kudos and more power to ACS and Sir Jojo V.

to Sir RC, such a great composition. Mr. Eleria, it's a very soulful arrangement. I agree that the biggest thrill for any writer or arranger is when his music ceases to be his. It is an honor to be embraced by the legacy of interpreting this piece, and more of which singing it with harmony and with a heart.

@armeo69 Yes, together with the SYC Ensemble of Singapore and the Gaia Philharmonic of Japan. The conductor in this performance was Ko Matsushita (of Gaia).
