blackpool is a only western europe,,,

finland, norway, sweden are okay with blackpool,,,

but not CIS, not eastern europe, not ussr russia

  • @bestamerica It's the name of a coastcity in England, Great Britain in Europe, the other part of the world, in the neighbourhood of Ireland, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany and many, many other countries.

  • We have been to Blackpool some years ago and we will never forget it. It is a lovely place. We wish we could go there again...

    oh i see that,,,

    thank

  • @DANWOODHOUSE1 i wish i had one in my back garden??.

  • The other issue regarding modernising the system is the current vintage trams as a tourist attraction. The blackpool tramway is an attraction in its own right, it is a traditional tramway not a light rail system and was never ment to operate as such. what sort of speeds will the new vehicles operate at ?and will they be reliable in such a harsh environment? These 70 year old trams still operate in blackpool for a reason because they work and if it aint broken then dont fix it.

  • I dont totally understand blackpools plans to upgrade to a light rail system. This is a massive amount of money being spent on an existing tramway that never made any money though the winter. Unless blackpool are considering re opening inland routes and extending to Squires gate there will be no increase in passenger numbers to the system. I am begining to think this modernisation has not been thought threw and my become an expensive white elephant.

  • any one no how to get a job as a tram driver i drive trains already atm but never managed to find how to do it lol
