  • I found where Alkan found his inspiration for the Hands Reunited Etude... WOW! This is my favorite sonata by Chopin, and probably overall my favorite work by him (I hope it's okay that I prefer this sonata to the 3rd).

  • Such a shame that this movement is so often overlooked, but a truly incredible piece nonetheless. I see it as a representation of the unknown, a possible answer to the question of that which follows death.
