One Step Beyond - The Sorcerer - (2/3)

A German Army Officer, played by Christopher Lee, is tormented by his belief that he committed a murder. To his dismay, a military court will not convict him. The basis for the court's decision is that it would have been physically impossible for him to have committed the murder. The officer insists that he is guilty and should be punished.

Then his meeting with a simple farmer who possesses paranormal abilities is recounted. The officer scorns this lowly peasant and calls him a fake. What mystery does the sorcerer solve for the officer?
